Sorry mods: I know this probably isnt the right place for this but i have no idea where the correct forum would be for this topic.

Does anyone know how the bnet game list refreshing works and what affects it? I have wondered this for a long while now and never really thought so ask around to ppl that might know.
I know closing all the slots and opening is a form of refreshing and also there is a different thing it does when first being hosted. When first hosted it shows up on more ppl's lists than when just refreshing, in fact refreshing doesnt seem to do much these days.

Some games show up on the list far more often than others, (mostly bots of course) But does this have to do with the hosters bandwidth or ping delay or the hosters location in relation to your location in the world/how many router hops it takes, etc.. i have no idea really.. lol

Also while im at it, does anyone know where to find the new GhostOne bot with the new refresh algorithm in it like the new Ghost++ has. I know its out there because i saw someone that has it but i cant find it anywhere..

yeah i use a hosting bot at the moment for my hosting, and i host on 8 different servers..(4 bnet realms, and 4 other servers like eurobattle and ombu etc) so it does seem to fill at a good rate sometimes.. But my bot doesnt have the "new refresh system" out there so it doesnt fill as fast as some others.

And was wondering if anyone knew anything about the new GhostOne bot with that new code that ghost++ is using, i dont want to change over to ghost++ because it doesnt have some features that i like.

i know a bit.. but not enough to convert the new refresh code from ghost++ to ghostone, its a bit different and i dont know enough about that. Was just hoping someone would know a bit more, there is a lot of coders on this site. gotta be someone involved with the bot stuff or knows something about it.

lol yea most bots do spam a lot of un-needed messages but you can set them up to not spam messages. They help to keep wc3 alive though by joining all the realms together, without that games would never fill :p

The games don't fill up anyway because the bots have ruined the lobbies and can't detect what people are actually wanting to play at the time.

yeah it is sad how bots have made the old/normal way of hosting 100% worthless now. I've been playing this game like 8ish years now and the past 2-3 years with bots have ruined normal hosting. Now you either have to adapt and host with a bot yourself or just not host lol. but thats not the main topic here, i need help from other bot users lol
