How Long do Deleted Images Last?

I mean, I re-uploaded an image in my album (delete then upload new), but forgot to change my sig for some time. When I checked it still shows the old, deleted version instead of just broken/image not found/404/606. o.o

How long do they last after getting deleted? Just curious for no reason.

I didn't even know they exist. Maybe it's in your cache? What's the link?

(I don't have it anymore but it happened to me multiple times when updating pics used in sigs.)

It is my cache, I had someone test after deleting one. Sorry.
