Yes how do i remove the footstep effect when walk in water?

Probably by overwriting the appropriate model in the map's MPQ? Dunno what it would be though.

A unit that's considered flying won't have footsteps.

Either make the unit a flying unit, without changing its height resulting in the ability to pass through solid object and leave no foot prints...

or

Remove their foot prints type... I forget what that is called exactly

You could try making the unit's movement type "hover" with no flying height. Might not then give footsteps?
