How do I make icons on the minimap smaller?

[Solved] How do I make icons on the minimap smaller?

As you can see, Europe looks very cluttered with the building icons making it indistinguishable.

Is there a way to remedy this? Perhaps make the icons smaller?

As far as I know, you can't make them smaller.
Perhaps the only solution is either to make the map larger or hide all minimap icons.

Object Editor.
Stats-Hide Minimap Display.
I'm not sure if that will do it.

The map size is at its limit, sadly. I can't make it any larger.
Edit : Stats? Where do I come across that in the Object Editor?

Change them to units (that cannot move); units have smaller icons.

Select a unit in the Object Editor. You can find "Stats - Hide Minimap Display" right under "Stats - Gold Cost".

Go at the Object editor and scroll down, down, down, down, until you find
Stats - Hit Points Maximum (Base).
That's where you change the HP of your biulding.
Above that field there is:
Stats- Hide Minimap Display: False.
Check this field and your building won't appear in the minimap.

Ah, I'm not looking to hide them. Although, changing them to units seems like a promising suggestion. Thank you.

Isn't the minimap icon size tied to the pathing map size?
