First of all, this is no place for such polls. If you want to make polls like this which are not releated to spell making, next time post into the "OffTopic" if it isn't related to any modding at all. Anyway, back on topic.

To make custom heroes, copy-paste an already existant hero and edit its stats, abilities, damage and so on. And to make custom spells... Check this thread and don't get bored reading it. Once you get to Drain Pipe's post you will understand why. http://www.wc3sear.ch/viewtopic.php?t=8006

Umm... You asked how you can get other heroes than the usual ones, right? Well... Copy-paste a hero (like you did with units... but you cannot make an unit a hero so you must base your hero upon another hero). And as for how to make custom abilities, check the tutorials section as well if you didn't get something fromthe link I gave you. Explaining how to make custom spells is already a tutorial.

I'm gonna make this as simple as possible because i serisoly dont understand what the hell was mentioned before. (i suggest you do as you read, or it could get confusing)

To make a custom hero-
1. Open the object editor. (helmet icon in your toolbar)
2.click "new custom unit" and base the unit off a hero (just click him).
3. click ok.
4. screw around with its stats and stuff.

To make ability-
1.open object editor
2. clikc the ability tab
3.click custom ability.
4. select a base ability
5. have fun
