How do I Import weapon models ?

Hi There... I have downloaded alot of weapons to insert to my items ( have alot of old ones... want to have a little more to choose from ) and they don't work... I don't see a weapon in my hero's hands ( I can see the other weapons I already have ) ... I wonder... do i import 'em wrong or somethin' ? ... should i write somethin' else instead of war3mapImported\Axe.mdx ?
The other models didn't need another path but these maybe need it so what should i write instead ?

that should work. (however, warcraft usually writes .mdl)

However, just make sure that

A) your hero has the right attachment point

B) you specified an attachment point

C) you added the ability to the item

yeah... but how about the skin file ? war3mapImported\AxeSkin.blp ? ... should i do anythin' with that ?

Change it to whatever the texture path of the skin needs to be.

It's probably

AxeSkin.blp

or

Textures\AxeSkin.blp

but I can't say (since I don't have the model)

Nope.. It didn't change anything... neither of the suggestions :/

there is a small window in the WE where you can see the units your about to set out or whatever... and in that window... I can see all the other weapons and armors except for these i have downloaded... it's almost like they're injured or somethin' ... but how can all be injured ? that's the question i'm thinkin' very clearly on :/

I recall seeing an axe that had

Axe\Axe.blp

Try that

and purge, I assume the problem is that he doesn't have wc3 viewer or the link from where he originally got the model
