how can i play on the beta server

among the list og battle.net servers in warcraft 3 there is a beta server listed. how do i play on that.

I've always wondered that as well, but after a while I discovered that you can always play there when Blizzard's planning on a new update/patch (It's usually with a few weeks notice) and players can temporary 'download' the patch by playing in Westfall to beta test it.
Then you can 'undownload' it by going to another server.
Well, the last time I was there it was rather fun to see Blizzard people being nice to ya
