Hotkeys

Is 3dsmax5 so poor with hotkeys or its just me ? I seen in 3dsmax9 that you can assign almost every hotkeys. But here I cant find half. Like Arc Rotate for example. CANT FIND IT.

Arc rotate has been done the same way in max, Alt+M3, ever since mice got a 3rd button...
You can customize your hotkeys in max 5 just like in all max releases: Customize->Customize User Interface->Keyboard

Seems like hotkeys are called differently in 5. Rotate mode is Arc Rotate, what is called "Select Object" hotkey ? Cant find that one, I assigned other important hotkeys.

Rotate mode and arc rotate are 2 totally different things: rotate mode has hotkey E and it's the rotate tool, rotates objects and stuff, and arc rotate is rotating the camera in the viewport, used for navigation...
If you want just plain selection tool it's Q.

How is called "Select Object" in 3dsmax5 ? It just isnt same as in 3dsmax9...

Ok I noticed that this isnt so important but.. There is an "arrow icon" left from "select and move" , few icons left. Sometimes this button is useful to me... and I can find where to bind him.

Oh...that's Q...and it's Q in all versions of max man.
