Hello , i think this is my first project...
i want to make High elf race
i know theres so many high elf, but i want to make one

what ideas do you need? I am also interested in creating a melee map for high elf...if you want, I can send you my WE file (it's far from finished though....I just completed the structures and units for my high elf race)

if you need models, try browsing the forums...there are so many materials for high elf
I also saw a complete set of high elf buildings somewhere in another forum (forget the name)

Don't mind me, I am just questioning myself how come so many people aren't capable of reading...

But ok anyway about your race. I would advice you to replace Human units you still have like Swordsman (still footman) and sky knight (still Dragonhawk). Balista is nightelf unit really just RoC model version. All in all seems decent though there is lack of actual features.

Pegasus Knight shouldn't get net as other air unit already has anti-air ability, make sky knight to counter ground units better.

Oh, but I actually have one race ready and would like to submit it to this group to get feedback...this is the Corrupted Ancients I created months ago and now is still unfinished
Well, there is a problem: I combined a dragonhawk skin and a riderless model using mdx pather (to get a cockatrice unit), and I don't know if it's considered as modifying or not
I also don't know if I have to get the permission from the creators because, when I submit it here, it means I show it to the public, right? What do you think, should I PM them about this?

Oh, and none of the units are equipped with skills/upgrade, which means there is no playable demo yet
If it's okay, I will send the file to this group

That would be nice change actually, hm maybe I should dig out some of my older races and put them too. When I get Wc3 back I'll gladly test it out.

Oh and if you are uploading model that is edit of someones work you better ask, though it could be still considered "too simple" edit for model section. If you mean uploading map then I think it is enough to credit the original creator, though it is still good to ask.

Around 40 I count. There are 47 threads on this group which is why I made the rule for people not to make more threads (there is actually already deleted High Elves thread). Though some people had made work but they didn't post it here. How many I a unsure.

@VeljkoM Actually in War3 lore the Elves are the mortal decendants of the Highborne class of Night Elves so the Glaive Thrower/Ballista is techniquely also a High Elf unit model though Blizzard should have changed up the skin texture of the model a bit to show that the High Elves changed it up a bit to match their new identity though keeping the basics of the model as to show that they came from the Night Elves.

Also I am almost done with my race I just need a couple models that I need and have yet to see.
