I think it might be the way the armor looks brand new and not scavenged like the rest of the gnolls. But thats because I'm not very good at skinning.

i think it is the fact that the armor looks to clean and somewhat advanced, i would picture a gnoll warrior with maybe like, skll shoulder pads and then maybe leather armor, this looks more like a gnoll turned knight.


but other then that it is a pretty good model

It is a nice model, but for some reason I keep thinking it has a bit to much WoW style in it, if I was making a gnoll race, it would certainly get used but not for no reason.
Skinning is good, size is a bit too big (really), model is a bit too... fat and tanked up imo, but otherwise its a great resource and something for every gnoll race out there!

I think it's a great model, a Gnoll Hero for the gnoll race. It's very good, Gnolls are my favorite creep race. But I agree with Choppermad, the file size is really big and the armor is too clean and new for a Gnoll. But it's a great model. I give 4.5/5.

when u look closely at it the axes are rexxar's axes. its easy u just extract axes and replace it on gnoll.

one thing you can do in the future when your making the skin is you can burn or smudge it or something, Photoshop has quite a few good tools that can make the armor look a bit more filthy or raggidy.

id imagine the alpha haveing the best armore in the pack but being a gnoll it would be (well used) id imagine it would be stolen from humans or if he is lucky dwarves so some tarnished silver or slightly dented steel.

Those are not Rexxar's axes. They look much more like Grom Hellscream's axes.

They are neither, they are from the Mountain King model. I just edited them a little and that's how they turned out.
