Hi, i'm new with the world editor and to understand it I started to make TD map (its seem to me the best way to start).
I edit a spell that basically is starfall, now if want the when unit near by, its will start the spell (as long is not on cooldown ofc). but it's not working for me/
right now im at work and can't give the trigger that I did, but hope you can help me to make a new one, that enemy minion is in the range of the starfall (doesn't matter if its 1 minion, 2 or 10454), and no cooldown, start the starfall and reapet (zero mana for the spell)

I saw a guide here with dummy unit but still doesn't work for me.
Hoping for your help in this case, and want to learn it more and more :)

Thanks!

ok, so one option is shown by Danethebeast, i can think of two more events that will work, the action always being the same:

  • Unit - Order (Triggering unit) to Nightelf-Moon-Priestess - 'Starfall'
i usually use either a dummy ability for the event (e.g. based on slow or faery fire) which has no stats or anything, but can be set to autocast (or not)
advantage of this system is especially when you have spells which use mana or have a long cooldown and you want to be able to choose when they fire.

second option would be to give the tower 1-1 (maybe even 0-0) damage and then use the event "Unit - a unit is attacked", with the condition being the attacking unit is your tower.

all three work, you should choose the one which best fits your needs.
