Hey guys, i'm new with SC Editor and i'm having some trouble with rally points. I made a spawn structure, each 5 seconds born a new unit. The problem is, when the unit born, she still around the structure.
With triggers you can try..When unit is created.. Issue order (last created unit) to move to a specific point or just use ability 'Rally' of the strucutre to a specific point.
If there are more situations where units are created.. you could add conditions with a region requirement or something like that..
How is your spawn made? By triggers or by Data module?
If it is a building you can look up the rally point (even multiple destinations of it, how cool is that?) and order the units to move to all the different stages of the rally point.
A spawning area? No problem! Just associate a building with the spawner (it is only there for the rally point ability) and then use the rally destination locations to order the units. After all, how else do you expect a user to issue the rally command?
Fixed rally points? Well then its not really rally is it! Just issue move/attack orders targeting the specific points you want.
Remember you can queue orders up by using the "after existing" mode of issuing an order.
