Please Help I dont Know How To Download Maps From HIveworkshop properly can someone please tell me how to

Greetings deadman. Select "Maps" from the browser at the top of the site:

Then select a map you like from the list: each map has a download link on its page.
Example: Requiem of The Gods 1.30b Just save the file to your local hard drive.

Searching the site using the above link always helps, you can learn a lot that way: just reading and learning is usually the best place to start, especially if one feels overwhelmed.

Likewise, the tutorials can really teach ALL of us a thing or two.

The chat room is cool: lots of people can answer questions there.

• A few other tips that might help too:
  • Always search first! Did I already mention THAT?
  • When creating a new thread, make the title VERY specific: so the site's search engine (and we users) can easily understand just what the thread contains.
  • Post your new threads in the proper forum: read the descriptions of each one so that you know what to post there.

This ... again? Oh brother! . Alright, so go to the Maps section located at the top and search or find the map your looking for and then click Download (Name of the map).w3x. And then when it says Do you want to open or save? then click Save of course.

Then ... it will show you where you were before if you have imported models or somethin. Ok when you are there go to Local Disk (C then go to the Program Files folder. Next, go to your Warcraft III folder (Normally located on the bottom and/or far on the right).

When you get to the Warcraft III folder, ask yourself this ... if you are importing a Campaign map then place it in your Campaigns folder (Campaign maps will show in your Custom Campaigns button in the game), and then save it and your done. If you are importing a single map however, then place it under the Maps folder, and then put it in the Downloads folder. Finally, save it and wait until your download is complete and then it will show up in Custom maps in-game and you'll find it under the Downloads section.

Lol its easy really, for me i ave a warcraft folder in owners documents, i go to warcraft, the maps, the i go to downloads and save and ta-da i can now use the map easy peazy

thanks but no thanks i have tried everything you have sugested but still comes up with an error has occoured it works with maps not campaines i tried it on another site (not the hive workshop) and it worked and i dont know why HELP

is something wrong with my computer

Hmmm. Well almost everyone can download all resources at all times (this user certainly has never experienced any difficulties). You might consider trying a different web browser, in my opinion, FireFox usually works best.

i have it in favorites dont really use a web browser should i

ok here we go. . .Go to my computer. .now there should be a file that has a (C for me its called HP PAVILLION (C then go to program files, then find warcraft 3, go to maps, downloads and save it in the downloads file. you should THEN be able to download maps that way, if its still an error maybe ur file wall or anti virus protection is to strong, if so tune it down, and after that if its still erroring, get a new browser or a comp, or just simply delete and re-install, i would suggest E-mailing urself maps that u would like to keep if u have to resort to the last option.
