Help! How do I make an ability becomes an item ability?

How do you do it? I made the ability into an item but when I cast it, It does not show the effect. It kills, yes but I can't see anything.

I don't really get what you mean... Simply transferring the ability to Item and of course, making it work appropriately with the item is enough.
Please be more specific about what your ability should do.

U dont get me. Listen. I downloaded a custom ability which is searing beam from the spells section. I just want to make it into an item which has that ability. You know... The searing beam is like a green kamehameha(DBZ). I made it into an item but it does not show the green thing. I see only terrain deformation when I cast it. That's it. I want to know why It does not show the green thing.

An answer i think...

hmm... maybe u can see it in a hero if the ability is okay. Else try download it again or see triggers/JASS for the fx model. you might have changed it into a non valid path.
