[SD/Modeling] Help fixing this model?

There are two problems with this (unfinished) model:
  • There are several geoset animations using color, but they all stopped working in the Stand and Stand Work (and probably Birth, haven't checked) animations (including upgrades), but they still work in the Portrait animations, ingame and in the world editor. The colors aren't animated. They all work properly in Mdlvis, Magos Model Editor, and Retera's Model Studio.
  • I added a light to add orange glow, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Any help would be appreciated :grin:

Ok, weird. The bones had geoset animations assigned, I removed those (set it to None). First time I replaced the file in a test map, in the editor it worked properly for a few seconds and then the colors disappeared again, and in game it didn't work. Then I restarted the editor, and the colors stayed this time, tried ingame again and it was working.
So TL;DR I guess it's working but inconsistently?

Edit 2:
So weird. To test it again, I deleted the import, restarted WE, and imported again. Again the colors disappeared after a few seconds, and it stopped working ingame. I guess I should try giving the colored parts their own bones. This is actually the first time I've ever noticed geoset animations assigned to bones being functional in any way.

Nope, giving them their own bones didn't work. I'm stumped.

Edit 4: resaved in RMS and now it seems fixed. The model previewer in WE still shows no color though, so I'm worried it's gonna keep happening off and on.

Edit 5: ugh, it happened again

Edit 6: LOL it was the Light causing it. I noticed the colors only disappeared when the Fortress model/animation is loaded. Removed the Light and now it's fixed.
