The legend of the Heart of Silence goes into the olden days. Ones say it was a relic made by an order of ancient magicians that empowered their lord and master, others claim it to be a device made to transport the owner to a city hidden between realms, and some deem it a pathway to commune with the ones in the Great Dark Beyond. All is to say, a magic stick is always a stick. Even if its Void powered.

I feel like the 2 color blues clash together making it hard to see this.
Maybe, make the staff part white (with texture) like your example you have and maybe it will look better.

I made this up in mspaint as an example.. Because at the moment it looks like a figure dancing as attached..
So maybe have that root thing you have there go around the purple circle ?
Or, look at other staffs on the site and get an idea from there..
