Have i fixed this tome leak?

Wazzup, guys! I know that tomes leak by default and that someone created a system that prevents this.
You know this super tiny model of the tome that remains on the ground after it's used? Well, i have created a trigger that activates when an item is acquired and if the item is a tome, it removes it. The tomes acts like normally, adds stats but the tiny model of it is gone. Does that mean that i have cleared the leak, or what does it mean?

Pretty much so, it is removed, though there's a tiny fraction of data that remains forever in the ram (forever being until you go back to the menu screen). You could say the leak is cleared.

@defskull, is Bribe's system do what i do? It simply removes certain items.

bribe's system basically every 15 seconds runs the trigger which checks all items on map with 0.00 life, sets it to item array and then it removes then from game

Theeen i don't really need it very much. I mean, he did what i did, but suitable for all users. My thing is suitable only for me.

If these tomes of yours are inside a shop, you could just remove their models.

My goal is not to remove the model, but to remove the leak. And no, they are not in a shop.

When you pick a tome, it remains dead with 0 life. If you remove it with 0 life, you still have a leak because the handle isn't cleared. Also, if you remove the tome inmediatly after picking it, you would kill the item animation (and still have the handle leak).

The only thing that's better than Bribe's sytem is the same sytem but in JASS

I personally dont think handle stack leak(handle not nulled isnt recyclied) is much of a problem, you can he at least hundred thousand of handles but its my opinion of course
btw nice I didnt know that tomes with 0 life leaks after destroying

Bribe's system is based on Tirlititi's library. There's a bit more information about the bugs and leaks there.
