Story: The year was 2014. Scientists in Washington D.C. were researching a cure for the common cold. They thought they had a good cure, so they tested it on a live cold virus. The results were disastrous. When exposed to the right element, the virus mutated. It spread out in the laboratory and infected all of the scientists. They didn’t know what had happened. They all went home. The next day, they woke up. However… they were different. All of their body parts were unresponsive. Slowly, the scientists had turned into zombies in their sleep. Two minutes later, they lost control of their brain and ceased to exist as a consciousness. They killed everyone in their home. Wives, sons, or daughters, it didn’t matter. All of them were infected in their sleep. The virus was now called Coryza X. Quickly, the original zombies infected everyone on the eastern part of the country. The zombies started swarming the western part of the country, and all that was left was the state of Washington. When the zombies got to the town of Yacolt, WA, many people were fighting for their lives. When the military rolled in, they had direct orders to kill everything on sight, including the survivors. The military thought they were contaminated and carrying the dormant plague within their body. They were wrong. The survivors just had a natural immunity to it. The military orders were flawed, however. They couldn’t touch the survivors if they escaped the Kill Zone. The kill zone was a section of land surrounding the Town of Yacolt in which the military could conduct whatever means were necessary to make sure the virus didn’t spread any further. Once the survivors were out of the kill zone however, they were free to escape to Seattle, the last known city in the United States that had a population of 0 infected. Seattle was renamed by the survivors and military. They called it

Description: The 8 survivors have to escape the Military while also hiding from/fighting off zombies. When they reach the designated point, the end of the Kill Zone, they win. All survivors that are still alive must reach this point. If none of the survivors make it, they lose. Large map, so it will be hard to get anywhere. The military has advanced technology at their hands, but the survivors also start out with a good amount of supplies. They can make tents to hide in, (tents have camouflage so they can’t be seen without some form of true sight/radar.) slingshots and wooden clubs to fight zombies with, and various other pieces of equipment. They get more supplies by finding random stashes in the forest which give them gold/lumber. Periodically, the military receives reinforcements.
