GUI: erm Event item dies?

Wanted to clean up the smut that power up (tomes) leave, when they don't get picked up, but just destroyed - so yeah im doing everything in GUI atm.
And i don't find anything that could work. It seems the event is missing: An Item is killed/destroyed. So is there a work around? or a "costum script" hack that would make it work?

Custom scripts are not "hacks" btw.

GUI is basicly a overlay over the real code language (JASS). And custom script is basicly using pure code (JASS). Therefore its no a hack

i use the word Hack, as synonym for work around - maybe a nasty one. but true it might not be right in this context

considering 98% if stuff that exist in jass exist in gui its indeed a bad word
