Morrowind (yeah I guess not 2008 but IMO it's still better than Oblivion and Skyrim)

Sins of a solar Empire, released on February 4, 2008, I hope you don't mind that it's not after 2008 but during.

@Adiktuz: Valkyrie Profile and Legend of Mana, those are good psx games.

Sins is excellent for multiplayer and lan games. After few games in single player it starts to become boring.

Civilization 5 is also good for single player.

wtf is medium-heavy PC?, specify it...

my B960 4GB intel HD graphics laptop can play COD4, skyrim, Tomb Raider, dead island, dead space 2...but minimal settings ofc...

if you wanna have a good PC, 400-600Usd will do...

Titan Quest and TLII.
Both played.
TQ was not hat good but TL2 was awsome.
Was a combination of Orcs Must Die 2 graphics and Diablo 3 (event hough published before.lol).

mckill2009, a medium-heavy PC is a PC which can handle most games at high setting and at least medium setting (mostly new ones 2013).

TL I and II is simply D3 turned cartoonish graphics which is for all I care, much better...
