Gmax And 3Ds Max?

Whats the difference between Gmax and 3Dsmax cause i have 3Dsmax and all the tutorials have Gmax in it But not 3Dsmax.Does anyone Know where to find a tutorial that has 3Dsmax in it? View attachment ER1.bmp

download the actual art tools from blizzard it comes with the best tut.

go to the help tab in 3dsmax and select tutorials.. theres a shit load of em.

Oops I mean that how to get tutorials on how to model with 3dsmax and put it into the game.but all the tutorials have how to put models from GMAX into warcraft but no 3Dsmax.

I think it is the same thing. Just use the exporter script, then again, I might be wrong.

well if you have 3ds max 5 then download the art tools, that all you need and it comes with a tutorial. if you dont then you need special scripts to export them.

here is the script you need if you do not have 3ds max 5. this can be used in gmax or 3dsmax because gmax was based off of max 4.
