You will get an editor upgrade later this month in patch 1.2 where new triggers, help and more will be added to the editor. The patch is already in beta.

Sorry but this makes no sense... There are no such things as data triggers but you can change icon data in the data editor.

Triggers and icons are completly different. No idea what you are after.

If you mean GUI trigger editing, then just open the trigger editor and avoid the "custom script" constructs and you will be using GUI. You may notice that GUI in SC2 is harder than in WC3 and this is because SC2 GUI is not total crap like WC3 GUI was.
