General Question- Custom Sound Set

A question, I have.
Disturb me, it does not, but still- I'm curious.
Can you make custom sound sets for units?

Yes you can vise one.I did it in my map using sound set from Stronghold Crusader.

Let's say you record sounds from your mike. Can you put them on a unit's sound set?
If you can, please explain how. Thank you.

You could always import them into your map and replace one of the old soundsets(by setting the same name)
