Try changing the armor a lil bit... I mean, not iron or silver or anything... Try a darker color.

The preview I had in the thread was the same thing, but I had only made the shoulders and chest. So if by old you mean bare-legged and with less detail, then I must ask what made that better?

When i saw the old one somehow at first glance it looked better. And i know it was less detailed lol i can't explain it. You still have the old preview?

And i hope you don't take me wrong, i'm not criticizing you, the skin is great!

the method of shading the armour serves its purpose, and looks quite realistic, however, its got a bit too much of a scratch texture to it. Armour is more of a smooth-ish texture, but at this point it looks a bit more like painted wood than it does metal. Not to say it doesn't look like metal, but i think it could look more like metal if you know what i mean.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I might go over it with a larger brush to smooth it out a bit later.

Now that I see the older preview; the green-ish brown color of the loincloth from the old version looks a bit better than the current brown, imo. The leather straps could be red or even white(Magnataur leather? hell, I dunno).
