THAT Sir is not your first!

well you don't know. There are talents that are coming out of nowhere =)

anyway, it looks good, but it is lacking though. here are a few points:

-use moar doodads, mostly trees.
- try to put out the 'end of the world' feeling, because you can see the end of the map. fix ta
-lower some of the trees, they're flying (can be done while pressing crtl+lower) also, lower the last rocks at the bottom of the waterfalls, they're also to high in the air.
-actually a brick-way tile at the water makes nooooo sence at all. try some dirt or rock tiles

well, that should it be for now. I'm not an terrain profi, I'm not as good as well, but I hope I helped you a bit =)

Sweet! Also, I just noticed the transaction to the river looks really squarish. Try using the smoothening tool found in the terrain palette, and make it more smooth. Also, you can use the rivir rushes as grass models instead, and fill the textures. If you tint em about the same grees color as the grass textures, and scale em with pg up/pg dn/home/end. Set the minimum scale in the object editor to 0 and the maximum to 100. Now you are ready to create better looking grass. Also, I don't think the river rush looks very good in the river.

The cliffs look like steep rock-painted hillsides imho. You could "meld" a few rocks into the cliffsides, using Ctrl + Down and moving them into the cliff. If there appears floating rock pieces afterwards, or rocks where you can see the open bottom, try customizing a copy of the Rocks doodad with Max Pitch and Max Roll both set to 5.00 or so at least. This will make sure nothing appears floating, although it may still look kinda wierd if you don't meld them into the surface.
I don't know for sure whether the Lordaeron rocks will match the village rock tile okay, because I don't often use them, but it might be worth a try. Short and wide, and boulder-like rock variations probably work best.

But it does look quite acceptable, especially for a first terrain  Keep it up!

A rather good job for your first terrain, I see some potential here :D

You've got alot of motivation to learn and you've made some nice improvements. There's only one advice for me left to give to you: Leave this terrain as it is, take the good advice everyone gave you and use that and your experience to your next terrains, don't linger too long on this one ;)
Try to expiriment alot with the WE and get to learn the UTM.

And above all, have fun terraining!

+ an extra tip: Try to terrain around one camera angle, trying to make a terrain look awesome from all possible angles is a suicide mission^^

Your terrain is really good and quite interesting but the sky you use on screenshot 1, 2, & 3 are kinda not related to the terrain itself, a sunset-looking sky and morning-looking terrain, you can either change the sky or add fog that can fit the sky.

As for the others, it looks very nice. but need some improvement on picking camera spots.
