First Sword in Adobe PS.

Tell me what you think, its my first sword in Adobe Photoshop. Im not good with weapons, but im trying. Took me 30 min to get the right rendering.


I also just made a Diablo 1 Logo myself, took me about 15 minutes:

Ok the sword is funny.

But the diablo logo is... special...

Then again, i am sure there are easier ways to make these kind of things than drawing them.

Dont use the fill tool, it looks bad, use the brush over instead (On Diablo logo).

Both of 'em are too blurry, less so on the sword, but still present. Try to use a pen when defining edges (or the pommel in the case of the sword). Manually filling in spaces is generally superior, or if you use the fill tool, go over it afterwards to make sure there are no messy spots.

There is no detail or definition. I know how hard this is, but you need to shade and shit, and texturing rather than filling tends to work out.

The fire looks alright, very unrealistic but still nice looking, but the text seems very messy and doesn't stand out at all.
