Finding Source of Map Crash

Hi good folks of the Hive, I have recently restarted work on my Azeroth Wars style map called Eastern Kingdoms: War in the South. I based the map off of an older unprotected version of Azeroth Wars that one of the maps original editors uploaded to this site. The only reason for this was that the map size and tileset were expanded (I had no desire to use UMWE or whatever it's called) and all units had been re-sized etc (this is why the loading screen is the way it is). Anyway after deleting all the terrain and starting work on my on along with the first two playable factions, when I go to test the map it crashes at loading about 3/4 of the way through. I had deleted a few things and so I scoured the object editor for Unkowns and deleted them; thinking I had gotten them all I tried again - no dice. It keeps crashing and I don't know what to do to solve it so if any one on this site would be so kind to check the map, find and if you want solve the issue in question it would be a massive help to me.

Man this map, this map...

I didn't test longer, because it already costed too much time, but I'm sure it's not a single "error". I think two.

I pretty safely can exclude imports/abilities/doodads/destructibes/buffs/upgrades.

Unit fix:
One problem is definitly at least one unit object. Nothing todo with units on map, it really only comes from object editor.
And not any unit from default units I can say, but definitly from "custom created units". I could not really spot anomalys at their abilities or rawcode, or such, so you might have test them.
Maybe delete 50 units then test, then again 50 units then test, and so on.

Terrain fix:
Then, deleting the faulty units alone wasn't enough for me.
After deleting the correct units, there was an other error with terrain.
I honestly don't know what exactly the issue is, but it gets fixed if you make any terrain change, and then save the map again. (it will overwrite terrain files in mpq archive)
Which change is not important, you even can just replace a snow terrain by a new snow terrain for example and just save.

The "terrain fix" has to be done after the "unit fix" to get the map working.
Changing terrain and then fix units won't work somehow, idk it's exact relation though. (tested shadow files and all, but without access)

I see, so it's a custom unit :/ that's a pain, thanks though for your time. It certainly narrows it down. I'll see what I can do about the custom units. Perhaps copying over the ones I've made myself and are definitely going to use, delete all the custom units and then re-add my finished ones. As for the terrain bug I wasn't aware of as I only tested it after deleting all the units and unit object editor and it tested fine... strange.

Because you deleted units on the map -> updated data in mpq -> fixed it.
Here is the map attached with no custom units in object editor, and it still crashes.
But, when you make any change in the terrain editor, like changing any tile, or so, and then save the map, then it works.

Ah right, I see. I understand, hmmm, well I'll deal with that one after the object editor. Just need to find what custom unit does it, or if it's several (Lord forbid). xD this is such a pain, I really should've just started from scratch, don't know why I decided to do it this way so long ago.

If you or anyone else, wants to help further and find the custom unit/s in question it would be a massive help, I'll take a look myself.

EDIT: All standard units - Fine
Custom Human units - Fine
Custom Human buildings - Fine

EDIT: I'm SO CLOSE! The problem is either in the custom Human Heroes, special units, or custom campaign units.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure it's one of the Custom Human Heroes which is annoying since I made them all except Arthas myself xD

Hello, once I was in a similiar situation. I downloaded a model from hive and edited it;I removed the glow I think and this caused my map to crash as soon as I start it and I wasn't able to load the map anymore (unwanted protection lol) . Did you edit a model in the war3model editor? If so, maybe that's where u should start looking.

Nope, I have not edited any models, and all the Heroes that use icons I made were tested first and are fine. I've been busy so I literally just need to test each of the 12 Custom Human Heroes as it is at least one of them that is causing the crash. I hope it's only one but it might be more.
