Inspired by Fleck and others. I needed a place to better sort and share my thoughts, ideas and news without spamming the Map Thread.

This is a Thread for my map, "Lord of the Rings: Dagor Dagoroth (Battle of all Battles)", which is a LOTR-based Footmen Frenzy map.

Notes about Updates:

• Following "Update 4.3", I'll only be adding 4 Heroes (2 for Good, 2 for Evil) in future Updates.
• Some Heroes may have vanilla abilities to start with, but future Updates will bring more interesting and unique abilities.

The next Update will feature Heroes for Computer Players (Randomized within the bounds of the Factions).

It's been a while, but I've more-or-less finished the next Update (4.4) for this map.

There are still a few things that need doing, most notably balance testing and checking to see that everything works as intended.

What can be expected of this Update?

Well, four more Heroes have been added (Glorfindel, Faramir, The Mouth of Sauron and Wulfgar). Not the original roster I had planned, but things tend to change.

There are also new Siege Weapons being added, and there's a strong possibility that Items will finally be properly added.

There are also a multitude of bugfixes, minor changes, new Hero Kill Quotes and other things.

When will the Update release?

We're looking at a late-December to early-January release. I'd like to release it before the New Year, if possible.
