Seriously. A shield is meant to be put in front, not in the back ( ). Don't hesitate to watch HEMA sparing with shields (Historical European Martial Arts). I'm not against some fantasy stuff though i might welcome some proper coherence.

The shield is not using it if you make a power animation with the shield could be good.

The shield is clipping through the those wing looking things like crazy when he's attacking.
