Experience system with variables / Is it possible to put a variable in a tooltip?

ok so im trying to make an experience system with variables. Is it possible to put a variable in a tooltip? if so how?

Why would you need XP in a tooltip? If you mean a tooltip like 'This spell damages the unit for xx damage and gives you xx XP', then you can edit that in the Object Editor by adding data and referring to it. Don't know the code for referring to data, but you can opy that from Blizzard made abilities that do damage.

I'm making a td and im trying to make it so when the tower gets enough xp u can upgrade it and i want to display current xp in tooltip

I don't think that's a possibility. The only thing you can do is make all towers heroes, give them the model of the tower and force them not to move. That way you just have XP towers.

Another solution is using mana. For every kill, you get some mana (XP), and if the tower is at 100% mana, you can upgrade it. Either by money of using all mana.
