Experience saver, +REP

Hey everyone,
I am looking for a save/load code for my upcoming map.
The thing is i only want the code to save the heroes experience not items, gold, lumber. Just EXP.

Basically i need the code to be name specific and when you load the code it saves your experience into an integer that i can use later on to set the heroes xp once he picks.

If you could point me to a save/load code that does this, mod one for me, or make on from scratch i will +rep you.

I will not be giving up this project as i have been laying out the plans for it for months.
