Error Using Custom Maps.

When i DL a custom WC3 map i go to play it and either the [Example]=World Editor//Open//Open//Open--- ETC doesnt even SHOW UP or i get a critical error when i click on map name and WC3 shuts down on me. Im not sure what to do.. Can anyone help me? I really want to play the maps i have downloaded. They look so FUN!

Ok maybe i wasnt quite clear enough. I DL a custom map. I open WC3 go to Maps. *Exported map file INTO Wc3 map files* I click on the Downloaded Map i want to play. Nothing shows up where the map creater/host ETC would be its blank. This is every map i DL. If its really due to map protection well...

If its for every map then the problem most likely is that your wc3 doesnt have the latest patch. Log on to bnet and you automaticly download the latest patch. Or, do you have tft? Tft maps cant be played with roc.

Ok.. 1st I dont want to open it in world editor. Thats not what im trying to do. Im trying to play it.
2nd I have the latest patches. Im not sure what tft is.. Maybe you could explain it to me? Thx

[edit] ok tft.. Yeah i have tft not roc. Its just not working right.

Since you have the patches, and tft (and i also presume that you have a legal copy of wc3), then you should just reinstal wc3. If that doesnt help, then reinstal windows. If that doesnt help, then buy a new computer.
