Hmm that's weird I put northrend snow heavy and indeed snow falls I even put a sound ambient lightning but I'm not hearing any in WE. I check in game but no weather effect happens even the sound ambient. Does this work for you guys?

Maybe because you are changing weather effect of the whole map either by triggers or by normal ways.

Use this trigger to create a weather effect whenever you want it. ( For example after 5 seconds from game start )
  • Events
    • Time - 5 seconds elapsed from game time
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Environment - Create a Weather Effect using 'Northrend Heavy Wind' on Region 0000 -gen-

Regions are completely unrelated to weather, instead they use rects (what GUI mistakenly calls regions).

You can use triggers to change the weather inside a rect. There is possible stacking issues so try not to overlap weather rects. You can also initialize rects to certain weather by modifying their properties in the editor however this has very limited stacking behaviour.
