Environment sound off?

How do I get the environment sounds off? I can hear some owl and some other noices and I have no idea how to turn them off. You know what I mean? These sounds do not come from any doodads but it is some kind of environment thing.
EDIT:problem solved
call StopSound(bj_dayAmbientSound, true, true)
call StopSound(bj_nightAmbientSound, true, true)
