[Spell] Enabling ability icons for item abilities

Is there a way to make it so I can have Orb of Fire as a unit/hero ability without the icon being invisible?

you cant make them visible but they still work even though you dont actually see them. i had the same problem myself once but i just gave up and found a different solution. maybe if you explained what you want it to do i might be able to help you further.

Add a dummy icon

You could use the ability cleave, it does spill damage and has an icon.

Cleave does not works for ranged units. This is bypassing the problem, not resolving it ^^

unless the person that started the topic knows how to create dummy icons that isnt a solution. i may be able to find a solution but i need more information.
