Elektric genade plasma missile

I tried to make a missile with this effect

but unfortunately I failed

I'm looking for someone who's kind enough to make this or tell me how to make this effect

I was unable to create such a cool fog plasma effect like in the movie and my lightning effects in it sucked too

there is an avi file with the scene attached for everyone who wants to see it frame per frame in virtual dub or something similar
