For the decay, I used Mdl Vis, added some empty frames and moved the main bone a little.

For the work animation, copied the lumber work animation through Matrix eater's anim transfer, using Stand animation visibility to hide the lumber. Then in Magos editor changed left arm rotation in the animation to match the normal stand animation's, so that it wouldn't be curled holding the invisible lumber.
