With the upcoming release of Firefox 57 on November, 14th (and therefore the crowning of the WebExtensions API), it is safe to assume some programers will definitively quit developing extensions for Firefox. About browser extensions designed for YouTube, the new YouTube interface breaks some of them, including Download YouTube Videos as MP4. Fortunately, the classic YouTube interface is still available; but for how long?
I have a backup copy of the latest version (v1.8.10) of this extension. But I will assume it can not be redistributed.
youtube uses html 5 and as long as it does, videoes will work with an html 5 compatible browser. it also supports flash, even in windows 10. i personally do not use browser extentions that is not included by default.
