For a W40K map, I've got a problem.

Normally, a unit will shoot at anything within range, modified by priorities.
But the W40K rules states that once two groups of fighting units enters close-combat, at one combatant includes a risk of hitting friendly units.

Therefore, I don't want the units to shoot at any unit engaged in close-combat.

This is a major issue to my map, so I would really want an answer.

Inside object editor find your unit, scrolling down to the combat section of your unit you will see the range of your units attacks, a little further down (past attack two) you will see an option titled
------------------------------------------------
Combat-Minimum Attack R...
------------------------------------------------
This is actually Minimum Attack Range (reveald after clicking on it) meaning that once a unit comes closer than this range your unit will not attack it anymore. by default this is zero for most units, simply add the range by which you donnot want your unit to attack and your all set.
