Do all players need the quenching mod to play a map with quenching graphics?

This is just a hypothetical question but say I make a multiplayer custom map and I'd like to use the quenching graphics, does every player who plays it online have to have the mod installed? Or is it something that's just injected in your map and replaces the graphics?

As far as i know , it is injected into your folder and only affects you , it has nothing to do with the map itself.
