u can make a dummy that spins around in a circle really fast then attach particles onto the dummy and it they will appear as if they are going up in a circle. look in this model to check it out =D

D'you think it would be possible to have the particle always emitting towards a point? As in, it spins around in a circle, and the emitter is locked facing inwards to the center of the circle, causing a sort of emitter aura?
