All I need is a model somewhat like this soldier, or something like the one in Glest.

Here is a list of required animations:

Stand - 1
Stand - 2
Stand - 3
Attack - 1
Attack - 2
Death - 1
Death - 2 (Slower, more Dramatic)
Decay

No spell animation necessary
Credits will be given

I was much to vague, my apologies.

I want a swordsman, in chainmail, no helmet, perhaps a wooden, circular shield with a cloth garment for a chest plate. I want him to have a chain mail skirt and him to have a hood of chain mail as well.

Well just adding a keyword 'footman' you won't find much, at least he would be able to.

I don't want a shield :/ and I want the animations to be smoother.

On the image you posted, it has a shield. And you will hardly find any smoother animation than original blizzard's. My animations are very wonky comparing with theirs

Well, if at all possible just edit the footman model then? Removing the shield and giving a possible reskin, as well as removing segments of armor and replacing them with cloth and chain mail?
