Hey Folks!

I'm looking for a custom disintegrate model (like from Diablo 3) . The spell has a set range of 800, so I'm figuring it doesn't have to be a lightning effect if I could just get a lined model to face the right direction.

Here is a link to the Diablo 3 site with the spell:

Ive been looking for a while and I haven't been able to find anything, so any help would be appreciated :).

Thanks

There's a model that is similar. I don't know who exactly, but a team from Wc3c created it for their hero contest where they had a kind of disintegration spell.

There's the thread of the contest. However there was an other thread with a poll as well where they posted all entries I think. You need to find it yourself^^
The hero you're looking for will be the "Arcane Ranger".

Edit: It's a lightning model / effect by the way.

Yeah, he used an edited lightning effect it looks like. I've looked into that, and it does look ok.

I guess now I need an effect at the end of the lightning to cover up the awkward point where my spell ends. It isn't a targeted lightning so it just looks weird without some sort or splashiness there. I've tried with several sparkly projectile models, and it doesn't seem to look quite right.

EDIT: I actually think I found some potential models for this at Wc3C http://www.wc3c.net/showthread.php?t=92295 I'll try them out and see how they go
