This is demo model of Linry Westerlund from my project.
She's half-elf (6'3f), a disciplined fighter from multiracial port city and a knight of order. Lost her arm and got scar during war.


Abilities from current model:
Spell lumber: Rend Armor;
Spell throw lumber alternate: Light armor dodge;
Spell throw lumber:
Into the fray!;
"Defend" Tag: +Deflection, +Accuracy, +Damage;
No tag: Unarmed;
Lumber tag: Cleaving attacks
Gold tag: Just badass walk.

The face mesh is ported from world of warcraft and animated from scratch
Has only in-game textures

Hiveworkshop's software used:
Animations, mesh assembled in Retera Model Studio Version 0.04.5k by Retera;
Geoset animations such as visibility, colors and the nodes as ribbons are edited in Magos Model Editor (WarModelEditor v1.07);


Added Linry from prequel with captain armor. No new sequences but some were altered such as spells and walk and idle animations.

Phenomenal work man! Alot of your models are amazing, but this and Korsika models are the best so far imo. I especially love the face animations, there are not that many models who have faces this well animated, the eyes, eyebrow movements and all (among human models anyway). Can't wait for more! :grin:

That's some top notch animation work. So full of character!
Practice makes perfect so it will reflect on future models.

twas 5 months ago but I decided to use classic BE head to fit with HQ outfit.

This year will be tough, but I will try to post new models especially those I've collaborated.

And yes, seems I have a huge a d o r i n g fan now :grin:

I just cannot go around and miss this model, well executed and animated 10/10. Incredible work!:infl_thumbs_up:

hey i didnt ask for someone to copy my stance and poses into stand , walk and idle animation for a warcraft 3 model! WHAT THE HELL? only thing it needs is a face palm animation and damn literally me 100%

great model man animation very smooth and a wide variety of them help cinematics a lot.
Currently 2 of 3 stances the last one is defensive stance.

Animation - Add\Remove animation tag to unit
Tags (gold, defend or lumber)
Walk Fast and Walk either see Pitlord in object editor or set like this:
Animation run speed about 240
Animation walk speed about 180

Bit heavy for a classic model, though its somewhat justifiable because of its unique nature, not exactly the average footman model.
I'm seeing some DireFury animations here, from his Cpt'Falric and Luke example ... not quite sure if i see credits to him though.
Personal feedback: no sword draw animation ? missed opportunity.

I like the Knight version alot.

Every anim is from scratch no imported animations. It took a lot of time from december.

No worries, i'm sure if there is anything model reviewer will pick it up, to me Attack Lumber Two and Spell Throw looked like they're from DireFuries anims, or some other model ive seen before but that's about it. If it turns out they aint than i'm sorry for the blunt statement.

I'll consider it, it is not that easy though maybe I should've moved sheath on her back

Ah the sheath isn't exactly the biggest driver of why i suggested that though, more so the fact that she walks and runs in style with those walk animations that she hasn't drawn the sword yet.

Oh i have a suggestion, dont do morph if its too annoying, do a Victory animation where the animation starts with her grabbing the sword as a one time thing and holding it above her head and bringing the sword back to the sheath, its easier to do that, sure it wont be like a morph but that's fine mappers will just throw a special effect and make it work as a transition.

I see where you are going, I'll use morph for changing between stances then.

Right now im not satisfied with her run with sword, in next update I also will add this:
