Diablo II Question

Let's say you have 2 cd keys.

One for Diablo II and one for Diablo II Lord Of Destruction.

If you are playing Diablo II and somehow through hacks got you cd key banned/disabled. You can't play Diablo II Lord Of Destruction either right?
