I have some major problems with my Kills/Death Multiboard and the Respawn System.
In the single player test mode it works all fine, but when I try to test it online with more then one player, the Multiboard just doesn't appear and sometimes (mysteriously only sometimes) the hero doesn't get respawned after beeing killed.

I checked the coding several times and couldn't find any mistakes.
I know it has something to do with my Help Integer Variables, which tell me how many players are playing users and the other variable stores the number of players that havent chosen a hero yet.

Maybe is there some pro triggerer who can find the mistake or leak?

My internet went out pretty much after i uploaded it, and i've first been able to come online again now.

I really hope you put stasis modules and kinetic modules into this. that would be the best. are the original dead space weapons going to be in this?

OK, tested it with my bros. Before I start with the bugs I want to say that the terrain is really really amazing.

So here's some weird stuff I encountered:
-There's an additional hero for player 1 and 2...testing reasons?... I guess.
-The first time I played this with my brother the respawn system didn't work for me (as the host) and him (as blue). Second time everything worked fine.
-Zergs were entering the Hero selection zone while we were selecting lol =P.
-The third time I played it, my bro chose Yellow. His status didn't appear on the multiboard. There was some question mark icon in his place.
-And finally, some heroes had no/few abilities. Yeah I know it's still an early WIP. Oh and, FLAMETHROWER ABILITY FTW.

Yes those heroes were for testing reasons, forgot to delete them.
I already thought the respawn system still doesn't work.
It's really strange, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Okay I saw that with Zergs already, too.
I will have to make the trigger that makes the zergs spawn get activated after everybody has selected his hero.
And yes I know not all heros got skills, will add them later.

And for the thing with yellow, I think what causes it, but I still have to figure out how to fix it.

Okay Guys, it's time that I need some help with ideas.
I'm working on the Ultralisk Hero.
What I need is some names and ideas for Skills.
At the moment I only have some kind of Warstomp.

Here are some ideas for skills, most of them are passive however :(

Charge - a charge ability.

Zerg Carapace - passive bonus armour.

Kaizer blades - a passive ability that deals negative armour to enemys that are attacked.

Mutate - a passive morph/mutate/evolve ability that makes the ultralisk to grow bigger and more powerful. (like Tinys ultamate from DotA)

Mutate - an avatar ability that once activated increaces his size, health, armour, and damage.

Kaizer blades - a passive cleaving ability that deals area damage on the ultralisk's attacks.

Demoralizing Howl -a howl of terror skill that increaces the ultralisks movment speed, and decreases armour and movement for nearby enemies.

Sorry for the dubble post, but I just finnished testing it.

*Bugs I found*

-Pretty much everything that lich Prince encountered, happened with me as well D:
-Also The ultamate for the Alien Brute, for some reason (maybe for testing?) does no damage.
-When flyng, the plasma Marine can go right through doodads.
-The zerg always gather in huge groups in certain places on the map; which eventually leaves the map empty of enemies exept for two massive clusters of zerg.
-If you pause the game while you're picking your hero, the spinning stops when you unpause it again.
-The map file itself is called: Dead Space 1.04. When you choose the map in warcraft it says: Dead Space 1.03. And the loading screen says: Dead Space 1.01.

And thats all I found, I can't wait for the full version of this :)

Yeah I have to place air pathing blockers, too.
Yes, I forgot to import something for the ultimate of Alien Brute.
For the creep system, I will completely remake it later.
Isn't it a bit weird that Aliens fight against Zergs, too?
Pausing the game stops rotating, wtf, I have no clue if it's possible to fix.

BTW: At the moment I'm working on the Hero Selection System of the Alien VS Human mode.

Thanks for testing and ideas. But I still need more ideas.
I had a nice idea for an ultimate, but it works only with JNPG and I don't have/want it.

Btw I forgot to mention something about the Map Description at the loading time. It's "by chilla_killa", change it to "chilla_killa presents:".

About the abilities, I agree with Zealon (and Peper) on the Charge and Howl abilities. And a strong passive ultimate would look cool on this hero.

Warlock? In Wc3, WoW, DotA or something ?

And yeah, you can either try to make the spell yourself, get help in World Editor Help Zone, or request it in the Spell Reqeust thread.

I think Chilla is refering to the Wc3 map simply called "Warlocks", where everybody controls a "Warlock" and tries to kill all the other "Warlocks".
The map mainly based around knockback and movement-based abilities, and the main goal is to push your enemies out into the lava surrounding the arena platform.
Anyone that hasn't tried it should seriously give it a go.

I havent really progressed on the loading screen due to me being ill, again, but i'l be shoving some productitivy into it today. :)

EDIT:
Hmm, okay. I've played around abit, and though the result is fairly simple, i still think that this loading screen captures the essence of what it's supposed to be pretty well.
If you dont like it, i can easily re-design it or add more KAPOW. :)

It IS just the first version after all, and usually loading screens get edited alot before actually being ready for use. ;)

I squeezed it in order to make it rectangular.
It's hard to explain, but due to the lower image's rectangular form the upper text looks better when squeezed abit so that the two "Images" have the same general shape.

It's just a matter of design. ;)
And beleive me: People wont really notice it when the loading screen is used ingame.

Why i am not agreeing with you guys is because the Dead Space text takes up that role.
The Arena Text and it's surroundings is completely graphical, and not a part of the main theme.

I HAVE messed around with it abit, and it looks better this way. Trust me.

It turns out that I had time...
I didn't do it with mulitplayer this time, and I used the "iseedeadpeople" cheat.

*bugs I found*

-in the loading screen is says: Dead Space V0.5, instead of: Dead Space Arena V0.5

-this is probably the most anoying bug, which you already know about:

-the Heavy Gunner Robot is extremly overpowered, I Loled at how fast he leveled up, and at how 1 of his abilities makes him kill everything faster then 10 heros combined:
bug 6.JPG bug 7.JPG as you can see, all I did was sit on the mana recharger; and send my sentinals at the places where the zergs respawn :D

-on the Alien vs Human mode, it dosn't allow you to chose which side you want to join.

-the music is still the WC3 human music, it dosn't sound right for a Dead Space map. Maybe import music, or use the WC3 undead music.

-their sound sets are quite strange, like the "Arthus" soundset for the ultralisk.

-and the last probem which is pretty obvious, is that the disriptions are not all fixed.

The loading screen is only provisional.
As you see Dragonson is working on it.
Ofc I know the Creep System sucks, I will completely remake it later, with different and stronger enemies depending on the Level of the playing players.
Yeah, the Robot is imba :D Flamethrower ftw :D
I will reset the ability to spawn infinite numbers of Sentinels :D
Custom music would be cool, but would increase the map size.
Oh thanks for reminding me that the Ultralisk still has Arthas Soundset :D
I will make every hero Soundset-less.
I'm already working on the descriptions, but I'm a very lazy and uncreative person so the tooltips are a bit boring for me :D.

For the Human VS Alien mode ...
At the moment you get randomnly assigned to Alien or Human.
But I'm also not very happy with it.
I think I will add to the very beginning.
When you start the game in BattleNet or Wc3, there will be the Forces Host, Aliens, Humans, Creeps.
That would be better.
And then my coding would also be much easier and some bugs with the camera would be solved. Yes, I will do that.

Thanks a lot for testing, will soon upload Ver 1.06.
But don't expect a new creep system yet :D

Umm, so far i've argued against most changes to the loading screen that has been suggested, due to design issuses.

So i generally look upon it as finished.
I have a few things i would like to try out, but nothing major.
So if there's something you just MUST have changed on the loading screen then Speak up Chilla. ;)
