Ok, now I'm fed up with wrapping. That's not easy, that's not enjoyable and, overall, I like the thing I get. That's pretty much what I was thinking about and I'm not willing to change it once again.
About the animations, I hope you don't test with the forum's tool... That's a great tool for quick overview but it's bugged.

Sorry if I seem harsh. You do what you want with that model but I prefer to draw a custom texture on a piece of paper and then cut my veins with the paper's edge rather than working on wrap again. That will be faster and much less painfull.

And yes, Misha, I'm sure that's my model.
