This is Reign of Heroes.

You start your journey by choosing your hero from the stones. Then you make your way into town. In the Town of Westville you will find everything you need on your quest to glory !

This RPG combines the joy of single player mode with the thrill of multiplayer. Play alone in single player mode for up to 90 minutes or play with friends for hours and hours. This map is great for a LAN game. Up to 12 people can play together.

There are 66 Heroes to choose from. 22 Types of bases. Awesome quests and hidden secrets all over the map. Some heroes even transform !

I would like to say that i am the sole creator of this map. I started out with a blank page and an idea for a great RPG one year ago. I would like to thank Warcraft3 and Blizzard for an amazing game and map editor and also Magos for his model editor wich i used to create all the custom models and effects.

Enjoy everyone.

This map made role playing game is a bit sturdy due to extreme gold cost and some of the heroes to lack enough statistics to gain independent power to solo in the jungle or have sole quest in the game, instead you would rely on teams to gain something such as gold, exp and other loots, it would be nice if you can atleast give in some friendly addition to each hero you made.

The terrain looks spammed in some way, you might want to to polish it since your making an rpg of sort. In total map can be approved.

Hello Dark Zealot,

Wow, I'm really impressed with the overall amount of effort you clearly put in this map. It was fun to play, but had a few flaws; one of them was game-breaking.

The first thing I wanted to mention is about a particular hero, the guy who summons Water Elementals that split when they die (can't remember his name). When the elementals split at higher levels, they do not have timed life. I was able to spam over 50 of them with no food cost. I'm guessing it wasn't intended.

Another major issue is the pacing of the game. It seemed far too difficult at first; skeleton mobs spammed the field very quickly and my ally and I were effectively trapped in the town until I learned my summon ability to break out. The overall 1.5 hours of gameplay until "Darkness" comes was very long, and felt overly tedious at times.

The fact that you can only buy one base should be made more clear. It should not allow you to purchase another base from the shop, and should refund the cost. This caused me a lot of aggravation at one point.

But by far the largest problem was the FPS lag that kicked in by about minute 70. I'm not sure what it was exactly (I'm guessing it's either location leaks in your triggers or the attack animations of certain units; my High Elf flying Dragon Hawk guys had a HUGE animation that caused lag, as did the water elementals when they were spammed). It could be a combination.

At any rate, the game concluded when we decided to war each other for a mock battle, to test our units' relative strengths. My 25 FPS quickly sank to 0.8 FPS, and then down to a full screen freeze. 25 FPS for me, btw, is NOT normal. I usually get 50 by the end of an hour long game. In some games, DotA for instance, I end even higher, regardless of the game length.

The frame rate issue needs to be solved ASAP. I suggest looking into possible leaks, as well as changing the animations/attack animations of units.

(Now that I think about it, shockwave animation causes lag for a lot of people. And that was the attack animation for my Dragon Hawks.)

Overall the game is fun, but not playable for the length that I would like to actually play it for due to FPS lag. If you believe you have fixed the issue, I would gladly give the map another try.

Thanks, and good luck!

Yes I am fully aware of the lag issues. The splitting elementals are fully intended to be permanent. As for the lag, as mentioned in the Reign of Heroes archive quests should be completed in the order they are received. The raging waves quest was intended to cause lag , I know it sounds weird, but this will make players more aware of how important it is to complete the quest before the map is overrun. I must say each person chooses their hero themselfes as well as what comes with it. The sollution to the over poppulation of skeletons are simple. Simply stay in the position of ones you killed to remove the permanently from the game. As I myself play with an old pc I must say there are many heroes who are designed to hardly cause any lag and its up to each player to discover for themselves wich hero suits both themself and the capability of their device. All the best Dark Zealot.

About the bases. Yet it is true. You may construct only one base, however... A secondary base is allowed. Its up to the player to figure out the riddle.:vw_death:

You're map was incredibly useful to me. It inspired me and my family and future generation of midget homosexual children to be useful ... like you.
