Custom Sound system

Is it possible to trigger a custom sound system?
If yes i request one, because i know that iam not the only one interested in that.

a full set of custom unit sounds triggered
for example if you select a unit of type x, sound y plays for you
or if you give this unit of type x an order like attack the sound for attack plays for you

and I was told that the only way is beginning his own an original set
