Custom Sound set difficulties

Hi! I'm having some troubles with a custom soundset. Whenever I try to import sound, it will not appear in the file. I know it's there, because I put it under Music myself. However, when I'm using the import sound option, it is not there under Music. If you could help me out, I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance!

When replacing a soundset the easiest way is to just right click on the sound file and select replace internal sound to import the replacement.

Hmm... I tried what you suggested, but I am having the same problem. The file I want to use does not appear in my folder. Do you know how I could fix that?

What filetype is it? For warcraft 3 .mp3 or .wav are recommend and as far as i know the only sound file types that work.

It's just a recording. I just used the voice recorder on my own computer for it. Though I must say, I don't think it's either of those.

That could be your problem then, try converting it to either of those filetypes, you'll probably be able to find a converter online

I have to say, I'm not sure how to do that. My "tech skills" pretty much extend to seeing if restarting the computer helps. Either way, I'm sure that I can figure out how to convert them by Googling it. So, what type of file is needed for music, and what kind is needed for sounds? Right now, they're .ogg, and they won't show up when I try and import them.

Earlier in this thread I said they need to be in .mp3 or .wav IIRC. Either or should work. As for converting them if you Google ".mp3 converter" or something like that you'll get plenty of options that do it online for free; just be careful what you click on the websites in case it's an advert.
